Nelson originally designed this Pessoa AO Pony saddle for his son Rodrigo. It was specially made to fit the wide back of the ponies. To achieve this, he spent weeks measuring ponies’ backs, testing trees and panels. He adjusted the seat by making the twist and the width suit a young rider’s narrow body. Positioning the child in a properly built saddle will not only achieve a better balance, but it will also help the feeling and the confidence of the young rider.
