The Frank Baines Elan Close contact is a saddle designed for the true connoisseur, a favorite with Hunters, Show Jumpers and 3 Day Eventers. The rich full grain solid leathers for the flaps and skirts and a new soft, supple calfskin for the seats and pads. When oiled this offers that extra grip and provides the rider with added confidence.
We have 2 17" Regular Tree, Caramel in stock for a Special One Time Price of $1,500 in stock and ready to go. These are slightly shop worn. All others are regular price.
The design and construction of the narrow waisted, wide seated tree, which is made from re-enforced laminated Birch, enables the rider to maintain perfect balance and control of the horse throughout. The use of multi layered latex in the seat offers outstanding comfort and support.
Using the latest technology for Frank Baines' standard panel system, which has been designed and developed to their own specifications, offers the ultimate fit and maintains the rider's contact with the horse at all times.
Frank Baines Saddlery has resdesigned The Elan Close Contact to offer the option of a wool flocked panel to enable easy adjustment.
The Frank Baines Elan close Contact can be made to your individual requirements with the choice of five different flaps and the option of contoured knee and calf blocks, which conform to the riders leg position. All of these factors contribute to making The Elan Close Contact a winning saddle for both horse and rider.
