Description:

This Myler Dee Bit is a stainless steel 3 3/4" Dee with Hooks. The mouthpiece is a stainless steel Low Ported Barrel Narrow with Copper Inlay.  The Myler Dee Ring bit with hooks secures the attachment of the reins and the headstall and allows the horse bit to work like a leverage bit. When the reins are pulled upward and backward, the bit's mouthpiece rolls downward and backward into the horse's mouth while pulling downward on the poll.  The Myler low ported barrel narrow bit offers a “comfort zone” when the horse is relaxed at the poll. The bit's independent side movement works well for bending, balancing, collection and lifting a shoulder. This Myler bit is well suited to horses that tend to invert and run through the bit.

Function:
  • Myler Dee Ring bit provides direct action - applies same amount of rein pressure to the mouth. This bit gives more direct signal than a Loose Ring and it will not pull through the mouth or pinch.
  • Downward tongue and bar pressure.
  • Tongue pressure before tongue relief.
  • Does not collapse on bars or pinch the tongue.
  • No palate pressure.
  • Independent Side Movement.
  • Turns solid when asking for a stop.
