Description:

This Myler 3" Dee ring without hooks has a fixed attachment of the mouthpiece. The mouthpiece, a stainless steel ported barrel, has a copper inlay mouth. This Myler bit is a very mild mouthpiece that works well for mature and finished horses, however, be cautious of using it on younger horses.

Bit Design: A Myler “D” shaped ring with fixed attachment of the curved mouthpiece which has an upward curve and a jointed barrel in center. 1 1/2" Port.
Function:
  • Myler's direct action feature - it applies the same amount of rein pressure to the mouth. More direct signal than Loose Ring. Will not pull through the mouth or pinch.
  • Downward pressure on top of bars.
  • No tongue pressure.
  • Some palate pressure.
  • Turns solid when asking for a stop.
