This Classic Equine 7-1/2 Inch Dogbone Bit is a perfect bit for exercising. It has just the right amount of versatility to be good for working young, well broke horses or older horses who have light mouths. When pressure is applied to this bit the mouthpieces wraps the tongue and pressure is put on the chin, to the bars and the corners of the horse's mouth. This mild cheek bit is just the right amount of control but has a plenty of control left over for when working at faster speeds. All in all this bit is well rounded as it can be used for practice, riding for fun, or competition.
