The cheekpieces of your bridle attach directly onto hooks on this 3 3/4" dee bit, changing the bit to include slight leverage. This encourages the horse to break at the poll. Additionally, the mouthpiece is twisted, which allows for more control than a traditional snaffle. This bit is good for a horse in the beginning stages of training, learning to bend and balance, if they just need a little more bit in their mouth. Perfect to add to your bit collection!
