This Myler bit with 3 3/4" Dee ring without hooks has a fixed attachment of the mouthpiece. The mouthpiece, a stainless steel triple Mullen barrel, has a copper inlay mouth. This Myler bit has more tongue relief than the single mullen barrel because the center barrels are quite flexible and allow the horse to elevate its tongue when swallowing. This bit is a good step up from the snaffle, and is useful for horses needing some freedom of the tongue. It also offers the rider a more sensitive feel.
