Myler Loose Ring Bit with 14mm Mullen Low Port Barrel

This Myler bit has 3" stainless steel loose ring design and is part of Myler's comfort line, fitting the horse's mouth better than a traditional jointed snaffle. The bit has a 14mm Low Mullen Port, with a barrel mouthpiece at the center. It also features independent side movement, allowing the rider to work one side of the bit, which can aid in balancing, bending, and collection. This bit has a copper mouthpiece, which has a sweet taste and encourages the horse to salivate and creating a softer mouth.

Bit Design: The Myler loose ring is a simple ring where the mouthpiece has no fixed point of attachment, but simply slides around the ring. This particular mouthpiece is curved with a jointed copper center barrel.
Function:
  • Direct action - applies same amount of rein pressure to the mouth. Loose rings allow the horse some play with the bit in the mouth.
  • Pinch and restrict.
  • Collapses on bars.
  • Independent Side Movement.
