On hot summer days, horses sweat which causes them to lose water and vital electrolytes. It mimics the composition of equine sweat to accurately replace key electrolytes. They further improved it by including a buffering agent that supports a normal gastric environment. Normal maintenance for horses in hot environments is one tube a day. Horses in moderate work should receive 2-3 tubes per day. Horses with heavy work should receive 3-4 tubes per day. Do not administer more than 2 tubes in a single offering.
