Myler Swept Back Shank with Curb Ring Bit
This Swept Back Long Shank Bit with Curb Ring by Myler Bits is made from all stainless steel and has a copper medium port correctional mouth piece. This bit has a 6" Cheek length.

Function:
- Shanks are used for leverage and, typically, with a curb strap or chain. Depending upon the mouthpiece used, backward and upward pressure on the reins transfers into downward pressure on the poll, pressure on the curb, and forward and downward pressure on the palate. The tops, or purchases are bent away from the horse to prevent discomfort or rubbing.
- Downward pressure on tongue and bars.
- Collapses on bars.
- Palate pressure is distributed through the anatomically-shaped cathedral port.
- Offers release when horse relaxesat poll.
